this one a lot. Plush, blueberry fruited, violet
scented Malbec from an unexpected region in
California’s central valley.
PRODUCTION
Grapes are sourced from the northern end of California’s long central valley. Malbec here benefits from the cooling influence of San Francisco bay so grapes retain freshness. After fermntation 70% of the Malbec is aged on oak for 4 months giving good integration and subtle oak characteristics. A small percentage of Syrah is blended into the wine before bottling to give some extra structure to this plush red wine.
TASTING NOTE
Juicy and full bodied, with plenty of blackcurrant and blueberry fruit, velvety tannins and great
freshness.
